Okay so I seriously love the idea of humans developing the fear of the almost human because was once something that mimicked humans or looked like humans that hunted us,I would LOVE to read a horror story with that as the concept. It doesn’t even have to be a book, it could be a short story or movie or anything else. does anyone have recommendations?? Thanks!

So I’m not big into books but you’ve asked for movies as well, I’ll recommend they look like people, annihilation, there are monsters (my personal fav), from (a tv show, but amazing nonetheless and probably my favorite live action horror tv show), and vivarium (probably my least favorite but still good)
I looooove this genre so please share with me your favorites (including books as I’m getting into audio books)
