I'm looking for recommendations for books within any genre (but my preference is for fantasy, sci-fi, or mystery) that fits one of these:
- Title includes the word door, lock, or something related
- Portal fantasy or other books about doors that lead to something magical or fantastical
- Books about hidden, secret, or magical libraries/bookstores
I've finally achieved my life-long dream of having a secret office/library hidden behind a bookshelf door and I want the perfect book as the handle.
I've already got Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Chronicles of Narnia, Every Heart a Doorway, The Ten Thousand Doors of January, The Midnight Library, The Cat Who Saved Books, and The Invisible Library on my list but since I love this genre of fiction I figured I'd have an entire shelf of potential "handles" to throw folks off so they don't know which is the actual handle. All recommendations welcome so that I can bolster my TBR shelf and have the perfect bookshelf door.
