I haven’t properly read for years. I was huge into reading, read at least one book a week. I finally am feeling ready to get back into it after what seems like years and years. Only problem is I’m finding it difficult to find books that I’m actually interested in reading.
I’ve read literally anything from Warrior cats to Dracula xD. I’m looking for something Fantasy/Romance but open to other suggestions. Romantacy wise, Not SJM or similar. Not my vibe anymore really, I’d prefer books that have foreshadowing, deep meanings, things that actually make me think – I would still like some romance elements if possible.
Not sure if there’s anything like that out there, but thanks for any help!

Have you tried The Priory of the Orange Tree? It’s got that deep worldbuilding and political intrigue that’ll actually make you think, plus the romance feels earned instead of just thrown in there. Fair warning though – it’s a chunky boy at 800+ pages but totally worth it if you’re looking to really sink your teeth back into reading
