Hi, I'm working on a book donation to a really conservative area. These kids don't really get access to reading. We'll be sending classics, too, of course, but I would also love to send in modern literature. Middle-grade / teenage books are needed. I need recommendations even without fade to black scenes/thoughts of sm!t. Kissing is okay if kept to a minimum. No drinking if possible, and minimum swearing.
I know this is a lot to ask for, but this is a REALLY conservative area, and the fact that they are allowing us to send books at all is a miracle, so I don't want to risk it. Thank you for your help!

You’ll need to be very careful with classics.
Modern genres have a lot of defined traits. Any middle grade book would 100% fit the bill for the requirements you mentioned.
