Hey all! I’ve got a 17-hour flight coming up for a solo trip and want to load up my Kindle so the time doesn’t drag.

What’s a non-fiction or biography that changed your perspective on life or straight up made you cry?

I used to read a lot but fell out of the habit. Some books that really stuck with me were Educated (Tara Westover), When Breath Becomes Air (Paul Kalanithi), Solito (Javier Zamora), and The Light We Give (Simran Jeet Singh)

    Would love any recommendations!

Born a Crime by Trevor Noah absolutely wrecked me – his mom is an absolute legend and the way he writes about apartheid through a kid’s eyes is incredible

Also maybe grab The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks if you want something that’ll make you think about medical ethics and family legacy, definitely fits the vibe of your other picks
