Hello! These days I read “Yellowface” and “The Correspondent” (2 very different books, both good but I enjoyed the latter most). Anyway, maybe I can make 2026 a year of reading women my age (I am 38). What other books do you suggest? I like fiction, I like feeling the time/era in which the book is set. I prefer novels and short stories. What authors should I keep my eye on? Some of the latest women I read were Annie Ernaux and Elena Ferrante, and I got to read a bit of Mary Shelley to help my daughter on a paper about Frankenstein. I am raising 3 kids and I want them to follow my reading example 🙂 thank you!
