I’m 21 years old and honestly just trying to learn about life and grow up a bit.
I feel like I’m at that point where you realize your perception of things is still limited, and I wanna get smarter, think better, understand the world and myself more. Not just academically butmore like mentally and emotionally too
I’m looking for a book that can change someone’s perception on life. Something that makes you think differently, question things, see situations from another angle, or just become more grounded and aware.
Could be philosophy, psychology, biography, fiction — anything that actually left an impact on you and stuck with you long after reading.
If a book made you feel like “yeah, this leveled me up mentally,” I’d love to hear it. I'm not abig reader so I don't even really know big writers and stuff.
Thanks
Edit: Phew, I don't even know where to start lol… Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I'll start with The Alchemist, A Peoples History of The United States and The Invisble Woman. By the way, what do y'all think about self help/improvement books ? I see a lot of people trashing it or saying it's too cliché…
