Hey guys,
I'm finishing Mad Sisters of Esi, and I feel like I haven't just been reading a book but looking at and considering a piece of art. The writing is incredibly intricate, and the story itself is very special. I read quite a few fantasy books last year (especially cozy fantasy), and at some point it started to feel like I was reading the same book (in a way). To me, Mad Sisters lives in a completely different space, and I absolutely love how open-ended it is. I always prefer books where author doesn't feed you conclusions and focuses on imagining worlds like no other and just invites you for a ride to consider them.
I'm asking for book recommendations that made you feel a similar way. It doesn't have to be fantasy, but something that you read that made you feel like it's not just any book but an art piece.
Thank you!
