My autistic 6 year old (reads at 3/4th grade level) has read and re-read the Dog Man series but is scripting his social interactions similar to the book. My wife and I didn’t realize that his name calling and outsized reactions were the same as those in the book series until his younger brother started asking us to read them at breakfast.
We are trying to find graphic novels in a similar style of dog man, investi-gators, which reinforce positive social interactions and personal values (kindness, perspective taking, etc). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
