I want book recommendations with these two tropes:
-
where the guy is extremely protective, stern and dominant over the love interest but he’s also very gentle and treats her very delicately. I want that mix of being very mocho and masculine but also a simple a slight hint of hurt/sadness from her would bring him to his knees.
-
Where the girl somehow ends up in another dimension/world/planet/environment that is so different from what she knows and where the people/love interest live in a nature-integrated society that’s somewhat primitive and harsh but also very beautiful and the love interest stumbles upon her and takes it upon himself to teach her how to survive but also growing to become very protective/territorial of her to the point where he’d happily die to protect her. And they both end up knowing that no matter how much he teaches her she won’t be able to survive without him due to how she physically won’t be able to survive on her own. Kinda like Tarzan/Avatar. I know a lot of people are recommend Ice Olabet Barbarians and although I liked the idea the book itself was so cheesy and corny and badly written that I couldn’t continue reading it. I want something with the same premise but much more sophisticated and deeper.
