I love dystopian stories, sci-fi and thrillers but after a dystopian binge I could use a lighter read. Something well written but fun! I generally don’t enjoy romance, especially not the ‘enemies to lovers’ trope.
In terms of lighter reads/ pageturners I’ve read Dark Matter and Project Hail Mary but wasn’t the biggest fan of the main characters (apart from Rocky). I am on book 4 of the Murderbot Diaries and book 3 of Dungeon Crawler Carl. I’m listening to the audiobook of the Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.
Is there anything else that you can recommend me? I have no clue where to start!
