Hey guys! I'm searching for my next romance read but I'm struggling to find anything that grabs me. I've enjoyed maybe 4 in my past readings, those being Vengeance Thwarted, Paladin's Grace, One Dark Window, and Emily Wilde's Encyclopedia of Faeries.
Looking for something where it takes a while to develop, slow burn, friends to lovers/enemies or rivals to lovers, they can't meet for the first time and be smitten lol no kissing before page 200! I like darker themes with dense writing, lots of prose (Really enjoyed the riddles in One Dark Window), something dramatic no slice of life, preferably a historical or fantasy romance but am open to suggestions.
