I recently asked my girlfriend what kind of books she likes, and she said, verbatim-
“I’m not sure what genre- maybe historical/ intergenerational fiction? Like books that span over years, decades, centuries exploring the nuances and intricacies of relationships, life, and the self. Raw books that make you sob”
I don’t read books like that at all, so I have no knowledge of the genre- I would love any recommendations of books that fit that (admittedly very specific) description for me to gift her
I do know that she recently read “transcendence” and “all the light we cannot see” and loved both of them!
