I want a book where both parties are snappy, not one where some frat boy is making cringy comments. I don’t want fluffy romance. I want complex characters. I don’t care too much about sex scenes. I recently had someone from high school text me some banter that I secretly liked but mostly hated and he’s attractive looking and it was funny. I was left speechless and would love some perspective by reading something fun.
