Books where the protagonists overcome self hatred that was a consequence of conversion therapy or they’re curently trying to survive conversion therapy/camp as the book goes on.

I've been itching to read something like this for a while.

There could be many reasons the protagonists (it could be just one too) are enduring conversion therapy, it could be because they're underaged and they can't live by themselves or maybe they want to fit in and they don't want to upset people, but above all I want something that I'll put me in the shoes of someone living in a conversion therapy camp, somewhere where the protagonist's family has sent them for being queer, trying to "cure" them, a scam sold to homophobic parents by the troubled teen industry.

It also doesn't need to necessarily have a good ending…

Do you pretty peoples have any suggestions?
