Hi book reddit my name is Jack and I’m a college junior who likes to golf draw watch anime and all that normal stuff. I recently got the urge to get into reading. I’ve tried in the past to pick up some novels but can never seem to get through the first few chapters of a book. For some reason it also feels like I’m not retaining the information I’m reading and I kind of just force myself to read until I give up and put away the book. Maybe the books aren’t interesting enough or I just don’t have the attention span(I do have adhd).
Anyways, I’m really into fantasy elements and also enjoy love-able characters with good writing. Other than that I’m open to exploring and just want some recommendation that won’t bore me but also require some sort of thought.
