Please don't recommend Kafka's "Metamorphosis." It's an excellent book, I just don't see the same uniqueness—or anything similar—in the writing style as Dazai's.
I'm not necessarily looking for similar themes like alienation, melancholy, etc. (although that would be a bonus), just something that's in a similar prose style. Inner minimalist introspection with heavy emotions, ruthless raw truth and eloquence. Anything you consider special or unique too, I don't know what else to add or how else to explain it.
