Hi all!! Having a hard time trying to track down the exact type of book I’m looking for online, so I figured I’d try to ask around on here.
Looking for some books with an envious protagonist, particularly one that feels like they’ve been cheated out of what they deserve in life. Self destructive, won’t take accountability, makes it other people’s issue—bonus if they’re obsessed with a specific person! Kind of in the vein of A Different Man, The Talented Mr Ripley, All About Eve.
I don’t mind what genre, I’m just not looking for a romance situation. I’m more interested in stuff regarding success, jobs, families, status, etc.
