I’m in the mood for quieter fiction lately, not really plot-heavy, more about people, place, and relationships.
I just finished – The Cottage Between Us. It’s set in a coastal town and moves pretty slowly, focused on emotional distance and the whole staying vs leaving thing.
Definitely understated, not a big dramatic read, but it worked for me.
Would love suggestions for similar books.
