I’m getting more into great detective fiction, but I am very sensitive to kid stuff. I’d like books that are well written and don’t involve children as victims. For example, I thought Liz Moore’s The God of the Woods was excellent in every way, except for the child victim part. I’ve also enjoyed a lot of Tana French’s books.
