In the past I have also enjoyed a good murder mystery. I’m not a fan of romance or romantasy (I’ve tried several). Tolkien and Lewis were absolutely staples of mine growing up. I love Stephen Lawhead and all his series. Elizabeth Moon is one of my repeat comfort authors as well. I like Jean Auel’s Clan of the Cave Bear too. I used to read Dean Koontz and really liked Odd Thomas.
I would love something off the beaten path that isn’t recommended all the time. The Murderbot series is on my horizon, I just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I would love something that I can both read and listen to so a good narrator is a must.
