Hey,
I’m not much of a reader, but lately I’ve really been craving a good book or books to get into. I’ve read the Jurassic Park books and Harry Potter, and I really enjoyed both. When I was a kid, I used to read Goosebumps all the time and loved the tension and not knowing what was going to happen next.
These days, I’d say I’m pretty desensitized when it comes to horror, and most stuff feels boring to me. I also like a good fantasy with strong mysteries and chemistry, but I don’t like the usual magic kingdom trope with boring love interests or a Mary Sue character who can do everything.
I’m looking for plot twists and something I can’t put down. I’m not into slow burners. If it doesn’t grab me in the first 100 pages, I probably won’t finish it. It would be great if it had multiple books so I’m set for a while, but that’s not necessary.
Any recommendations?
