I NEED a book like the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo or The song of Achilles

So I want a sad ending a gay love story that is like forbidden love I would like to cry I want it to not just be a romance book. If possible I would like it to span a whole life like the two books I mentioned. Thanks for any help
