As above, I'm searching for a romance book but since I'm tired of instant love, characters being stupid and surprised by their own actions I have some requirements.
Here are the overall, obviously I won't get everything in one book but I would love as much as possible:

No insta-love and most importantly no insta-lust.

Smart MCs, smart, logical decisions, most of the time at least.

Characters getting to know each other, and as that happens love shows too. (One night stand is fine, but only if it doesn't result in point 1 later on)

Standalone that spans for a long time or series that follows one couple throughout multiple books (i want to see them growing together, from dating, to marriage, to kids, but in years, not months)

Multiple couples all together is good too, but no book per couple unless it's like above.

Romance doesn't have to be the main plot, if it gets me slow burn (higher chance of the romance growing through more books like in 4.)

Smut is fine, welcomed even, all kinds, all spice levels, but only when it makes sense, I don't want smut for the sake of smut. I want to wait for it, for it to be important to the characters.
Bonus points for tropes/characters but I'll be fine without any of those if I get the above:

set in a small town

for the mc's: single parent, widow/er, military veteran or famous – actor, musician, athlete

and it would be cool if there's a polish translation but that's the least important of all.
