I remember my childhood days when I first grabbed "Roald Dahl" or "The adventures of akhbar birbal" or "Vikram Betal", "Sherlock Holmes adventures". I just COULD NOT stop reading. If i touched a book, I had to finish it. I had to know what happens next. Sherlock Holmes was probably the best books I had read. It was a collection of witty, story books for kids. So good, each story had something new.

When I first read fantastic Mr fox, it kickstarted my reading journey and I went onto the next, and then the next and soon i completed the entire collection of roald dahl by class 5.

But ever since that, something terrible has happened, I am unable to read with the same passion as before. It is now a chore to me. (There was a long gap where i probably fried my attention span).

I'm 21 now and recently finished Hunger Games trilogy, 7 books of A series of unfortunate events, The golden compass, 2 or two wimpy kid books, Diary of Anne Frank.

All of these were a chore. I did not have any fun reading them.

I am currently trying to read Moby Dick, Metamorphosis, Blood meridian, old man at the sea. All at the SAME TIME. And it's just not working well.

Also started Da Vinci code, read a lot but it was so chore-y that i left it. Also started rickriordan, but I was bored out of my mind.

Suggest me a book so that I can regain the past enthusiastism I had about books.
