Hi!! I am 30F. I am planning my bachelorette party and I am planning on gifting every attendee a book that I think they would enjoy with a little handwritten letter in the front cover from me. For my friends, I know what genres of books they enjoy, and this wasn’t very difficult for me.
However, I am stumped on my mom and mother in law.
Mom: Late 50s. Reads a ton (~120 books a year). She likes a wide variety of books. She reads thrillers, romance, lots of trendy booktok type books.
My mother in law: Late 50s as well. Not sure how much she reads. I’ve noticed a lot of her books are also romance.
She also loves reality TV. I read Hannah Brown’s (from bachelorette) books and was thinking possibly her rom-com book?
I could just pick them up some new trendy booktok book but I was wondering if anyone who reads would have any good recommendations for them that are kind of around the wedding / new chapter / expanding family type themes maybe?
I saw there’s a book like “How to Be a Perfect Grandma” which I think they’d both love but don’t want to give anyone the idea that I am currently pregnant or will be directly after the wedding.. However, we are hoping to start a family in the relatively near future (next 2 years).
Any ideas?
