I read this book about a year or 2 ago, and i can't stop thinking about it.
Its about Noah ark through the lens of Noah's daughter, Timna (it switches perspectives though). And though you'd expect a biblical retelling to be all worship-y, rainbows and fun, it is fortunately not.
Its dark and sometimes disgusting. It doesn't cast Noah or his family as all perfect but as flawed, fascinating people you'd wanna study under a microscope.
It can show the mysognistic, incestuous, unloving, questionable things in Noah's family.
It isn't afraid to critique God or his actions, and HELL YEAH!! Gimme that!
Sorry if my explanation sounds bad, im not a native speaker (/.\)
But the people who have read this will understand. Please reccomend me an amazing book like this!💛
