What do 14–15 year olds actually like to read right now?

Hi! I’m looking for book recommendations for a 14-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, and I’m a little out of the loop on what teens are genuinely into these days.

Open to YA, fantasy, sci-fi, contemporary, mystery, graphic novels, manga, etc. They don’t have to be super “educational,” just engaging — the goal is to get them excited about reading.

Would especially love suggestions that:

• Are popular with teens right now

• Don’t feel too young or preachy

• Work for different reading levels/interests

Series or standalones are both fine.
