Hi folks of r/suggestmeabook
I (25m), just got back into reading and am craving some books that I can sink into. Books that once finished, would make me question reality, change my mindset, or even make me reevaluate my actions to become a smarter, decisive, and perhaps more intellectually and financially wealthy person.
I just recently finished "Make Your Bed" by William H. McRaven, and while the material had really key points to it, I feel like they didn't have that wow factor behind it that I may be craving. The lessons McRaven provided were useful, but didn't quite stick.
I've seen some mentionings of "The 48 Laws of Power" and "Atomic Habits", but unsure if they are reads that would match what I'm looking for. If it helps narrow books that match my situation, I also just quit my nasty addiction of playing video games for 16 years (12 days free!) and have had past dealings with toxic and manipulative folks.
Excited to hear what you folks may have for me, and I apologize if I was too vague
