I'm lover of books on American history and biographies of historical figures, and I've been trying to choose a biography for my next read. While I'm open to any suggestions, I've been really looking into Ron Chernow's “Titan: The Life of John D. Rockefeller, Sr.,” T.J. Stiles's “The First Tycoon: The Epic Life of Cornelius Vanderbilt,” David W. Blight's “Frederick Douglass: Prophet of Freedom,” and Walter Isaacson's “Benjamin Franklin: An American Life.” If I were to choose one, which should I embark on first?
