Hello! I have recently read some thrillers/horrors by indigenous authors (I was a teenager slasher and The only good Indians by Stephen Graham Jones and Empire of wild by Cherie Dimaline) and I found the perspectives very interesting and refreshing. I’m not North American so a lot of things were new to me and led me to learn a lot and research things.
So what books would you recommend written by indigenous authors of the world (so not restricted to North America)? I do enjoy horrors and thrillers but I’m open to any genre (except fantasy and romance)
Thank you! 🙏

Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe.
Terra Nullius by Claire G Coleman is a post apocalyptic novel about a future Australia after Earth has been colonised by aliens.
The Marrow Thieves by Cherie Dimaline is also an excellent dystopian story.
