I checked the search and this hasn't been asked in the last 6 months, so I hope it's ok…
Im ace, traumatized and leaning towards sex-repulsed. I don't participate in a lot of Fandom because I hate when emotionally intimate relationships get sexualized. I put "ace" in my dating profile because apparently in order to have the kind of emotional intimacy I crave, you have to call it romantic. I loved the representation of platonic romance in the Good Omens adaptation and I already put TJ Klune and Becky Chambers on my TBR list from searching for asexual book recommendations on this sub, and from reading other works of theirs. I currently have Slap Fight On The Internet Energy and I want to channel that into Taking My Ball And Going Home to an aggressively asexual comfort read. Anyone got any book recs to suit my exact mood? Lol.
Bonus points for queer platonic life partners, bonus bonus for polyamorous-its-not-a-cult-we-swear. Cherry on top if some of the characters are allosexual and equally supported. Slut-shaming and sex-negative moralizing arent my bag, but if there's spice I want towel-and-snack-keeper-at-the-orgy energy.
