I'm picking out my book club pick for march, the meeting will take place during the trans rights readathon so I want something with trans/gnc visibility. We usually read litfic, weirdgirl in particular, but are open to any genre. TIA!
T Kingfisher’s Sworn Solider series is historical fiction/gothic horror with a non binary protagonist.
I haven’t read it yet, but Herculine by Grace Byron seems really interesting, involves a trans woman joining a cult.

Woodworking by Emily St. James
Spoiler title (it’s a mystery): >!Mad Honey!<

The Slip by Lucas Schaefer. It’s a litfic book about a lot of things, including boxing and a missing teenager. There are many characters and many points of view. One focal character is trans, but they don’t show up until about halfway through the book. It’s a long book (about 500 pages), but really interesting. Lots to discuss.

Detransition, Baby would’ve great for a book group
