– Shirley Jackson
– J K Rowling
– Lucy Foley

Although I have not read all of their works but have read at least one of their books.
These are the female authors that I haven’t read off top of my head
– Dolly Alderton

Middlemarch by George Eliot is one I recommend as it’s very deserving of its classic status.
The four winds by Kristin Hannah.
Oh, Shirley Jackson is awesome, isn’t she?
More: The Brontë sisters, Jane Austen, George Eliot, and my personal fave, Edith Wharton
Highly recommend adding Octavia E Butler to your list if you have any interest in sci fi/ speculative fiction.
Ann Patchett and Elizabeth Strout…any of their books!
