Suggestions for old lesbian/sapphic books?

I've wanted to ask this because as far as I know The Price of Salta aka Carol is the first classic book that had a lesbian happy ending but I really want to know if there are other books that aren't neccesarily too recent on relationship involving queer woman or have queer women as characters somewhere. I don't mind non-fiction but by preference fictional books would be nice
