    I’m looking for a good fantasy book that I haven’t read yet, preferably that aligns well with fantasy books I’ve read and loved.

    **What I have read and LOVED**

    * Broken Earth series

    * First Law series

    * Jade City series

    * Mistborn series

    * Stormlight Archive

    * Gideon the Ninth series

    * Priory of the Orange Tree

    * The Will of the Many and sequel

    * Circe

    * The Song of Achilles

    * The Invisible Life of Addie Larue

    * Piranesi

    **What I have read and liked, but wasn’t quite as into**

    * Name of the Wind

    * The Assassin’s Apprentice

    * Babel

    * Lord of the Rings

    **Fantasy that was not for me**

    * Poppy War trilogy

    * The Shadow of the Gods trilogy

    * Bury Our Bones In The Midnight Soil

    Any good suggestions?

      I wouldn’t technically call it fantasy but it reminds me of The Invisible Life of Addie Larue: The God of Endings by Jacqueline Holland. By far one of my favorite books!

      Ilona Andrews Kate Daniels series, first book Magic Bites. Urban fantasy after a magical apocalypse. Any of their book series really.

      Lina Hearn Tales of the Otori, first book Across the Nightingale Floor Asian mythology fantasy

      Jim Butcher Dresden Files series, first book Storm Front, urban fantasy with a wizard who helps paranormal unit of Chicago police and lives under a sword of Damocles from the wizard council

      Ursula Le Guin Always Coming Home

      Steven Brust Vlad Taltos series’s first book Jhereg but you may find it now as an omnibus with books 1-3 especially if you look for ebooks. Sword and sorcery set in an alternate Eastern Europe

      Neal Stephenson Baroque Cycle, first book Quicksilver and if you like sci-fi Snow Crash

      Shakespeare’s The Tempest
