Hey there, I am a younger guy who studies engineering. I fell into the pit of only reading non-fiction, either philosophy, history, or science textbooks. I found myself believing that reading should not be enjoyable. I am trying to fix that and appreciate this art form.
Does anyone have any good books that are simply enjoyable. Preferably fictional with a linear story. I also really enjoy poetry so recs for that would be great too.

My current favorite authors that I own are Dostoevsky (The Idiot, Brothers Karamazov, White Nights) and Nietzsche (The Gay Science, Thus Spoke Zarathustra).
