I’m looking for MF or MM stories in which Protagonist 1 has experienced psychological trauma and takes a trip to the countryside (possibly during a summer break) to heal. There, Protagonist 1 meets Protagonist 2, a modern aristocrat, and the two share a brief but intense period of bonding during which their feelings develop.
The story may interweave the warm, gentle rhythm of rural life with the kindness and closeness of the local community. The two protagonists should have a clear age gap, and if it is an MM story, a queer-awakening element would be especially appreciated.
