My niece is 8 years old and is addicted to playing games on her phone. I’m not against video games but I want to encourage her to read more. She’s not bad at reading but I can see her not keeping up with her peers because of her game obsession.
I’ve thought about bridging the gap by getting her some comics like “Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” “The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl” or “Bone”
Any recommendations or tips of how to encourage her to read would be appreciated!
