Hey everyone,
I’m looking for book recommendations and figured I’d ask people who actually read across genres.
My Audible history includes:
• Epic / brutal sci-fi & fantasy (Red Rising, Dungeon Crawler Carl, Three-Body Problem, Game of Thrones)
• Dark psychological thrillers (Karin Slaughter, Freida McFadden)
• Big-idea nonfiction (1984, Atlas Shrugged, Communist Manifesto, The Anxious Generation)
• Some lighter nostalgia listens (Harry Potter, Ready Player Two)
I seem to gravitate toward:
• High-stakes worlds with strict systems
• Smart, adaptive protagonists
• Moral gray areas
• Books that challenge how you think about power, society, or human behavior
Open to fiction or nonfiction. Audiobook quality matters (good narration is a big plus).
If anything jumps out based on this, I’d love to hear your recommendations.
Thanks!
