I might've put fiction but I read almost everything, as long as its engaging and not too hard to read (I am ashamed to say I can't even read classics properly), though comedy specifically takes the first place. Secondly, perhaps, wholesome romance.

For romance I dislike dark romance/ smut/pregnancy/one-nightstand/hookup tropes so yeah. I love any kind of comedy though.

Anyways, something I recently tried to read was 'Lamb' by Christopher Moore. I loved everything about it but I did not like how the plot went tbf :/ I also got the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books but I can't make head or tail of just the first chapter. My reading skills are that horrible these days.

    1. The Wedding Forecast by Nina Kenwood is a great romance book that also had me laughing at times.

In the Likely Event by Rebecca Yarros is an easy to read, second chance rom com that I really enjoyed.

You could also try The Seven Sisters series by Lucinda Riley. They’re a mix of historical fiction and romance, with a bit of mystery thrown in.
