Hellooo!
So I am looking for a specific kind of romance book. I’m quite the mood reader and lately I want a specific cliche but I cannot find what I’m looking for for the life of me.
So I would like a book that is similar to “camera shy” by Kay Cove, or “can you keep a secret?” by Sophie Kinsella. I want the typical trope where the FMC is insecure because of having an attractive family/friends, and then comes the MMC and just falls in love with her without looking at anyone else. I want a confrontation where the MMC tells the respective person to just stop saying horrible things, etc…
I’ve recently read “melt for you” by G.T Geissinger and it kinda hit the spot but the FMC being quite the doormat in the beginning was a bit of a turn off and it was lacking the family/friends dynamics and the protective MMC.
I don’t really want any historical romances, or high school settings. I just want a bit of drama or laughs.
Do you have any recommendations???
