I just started getting into reading as of a week ago and for the first time ever I find myself being excited to read.
First book of choice, because it’s my best friend’s favorite, is Swan Song. I’m about 70 pages in and I’m enjoying it!
I’ve also talked to people, researched, perused, and have a list of stuff that is loved by the collective hive mind.
However, I have ALWAYS picked books based on their covers. And the books I’ve been recommended wouldn’t be books I’d pick by that metric.
So, what books have you picked solely based on their covers that ended up being great?
I also welcome any fiction book recommendations, this is my short list currently:
Project Hail Mary
Watership down
The Sword of Kaigen
The Will of the many
Mistborn
Blood music
A fire upon the deep
Blindsight
Wheel of Time
Stranger in a Strange Land
