Trying to get into reading and have no clue where to start

Hey everyone, recently I’ve been wanting to get into reading, however I’ve been struggling with reading since I was young, could someone recommend me a book that isint too long but has a gripping story? I want to start off small and eventually build my reading skills to a higher level. I’ll include a bit about me so you can base your recommendations a bit better. I’m 17, I like video games and cinema I’m a big fan of manga too and overall I enjoy emotional stories.
