Heading to Scotland (I’ve been, missus hasn’t but she’s obsessed) later this year and would love to read books, preferably historical, set in Scotland. I say highland clans but honestly could be anything Scottish in any era. Could be like the movies *Rob Roy*, *Outlaw King* or even *Burke and Hare*

Maybe the Oulander series? Although they do change places from Scotland to America…
His Bloody Project by Graeme Macrae Burnet
A fabulous book, set in Applecross in the 19th century. A historical murder mystery. I listened to it as an audiobook and it was such a gripping story.
Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, or The Lost Queen series by Signe Pike
