Hello! I am going on a trip in March with my best friend from college to explore Santiago a bit and, mostly, go horse riding/camping for a few days in Patagonia. We're both pretty avid readers and thought it might be fun to read something together over our trip! I was wondering if anybody had some suggestions. Here is some more info that may be helpful!
- We will have a long flight both ways, so I don't think length will be a super huge constraint.
- Her favorite book is Panchiko. I recently loved Demon Copperhead, but I think that my overall favorite is either The Year of Magical Thinking or The Handmiads Tale.
- We both used to almost exclusively read romance and aren't opposed to that, but I think we both gravitate more towards lit fic these days.
- Neither of us speak spanish well enough to read a book in it.
- It would be cool (but certainly not mandatory) if the book had some sort of regional interest
- I think we read most genres, but would probably not enjoy anything scary while we're camping haha
- I don't know that non-fiction, poetry, or sci-fi would be super high on our list either if I am being totally honest, but the right one could sway us.
