My 3rd grade daughter and I are reading “Seeds of Hope” the California Gold Rush book in the Dear America series. We’re at the part where Sam has asked to court the main character & now my daughter can’t put it down. And that’s when it dawned on me that she likes a little romance. She’s read “These Happy Golden Years” (Laura Ingalls Wilder when she meets & courts her husband) about 5 times and listens to the audiobook on repeat. So I’m trying to find some other historical fiction that might include a little romance. I know Little Women might be good… what others can you recommend?
