As the title suggests. I’m not necessarily looking for any recommendations (but will always take some) but rather, what was a book series that you couldn’t put down when reading but have also literally never heard someone else talk about? Just curious about other people’s experiences. I’ll start with mine.
Growing up, I had gotten the first Leven Thumps book. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole series but have never even seen/heard someone else mention it or witness it on a bookshelf picture. It’s a whimsical world. And I say that with true sincerity. While it shares some similarities to other young adult novels of the time period (think Harry Potter). Yet also has some vast differences in terms of originality. I also think Robert Skye perfectly captured the mindset of a young teen in his storytelling. Anyway, this is my mythical series that no one mentions.
Anyone else have a series that was like this for you?
