Before I add more details, I can read books in English, Spanish and Finnish.
Usually when I'm looking for a book it has a deep, tragic and melancholic vibe or story and they usually happen to lack romance and eroticism. It might be just me, but I haven't found a great balance between those two genres. When I look for a book with romance and eroticism the story gets usually overshadowed by those two topics. Again, maybe I'm not looking hard enough but I've also just moved from young adult books to adult books a couple of years ago but I have alot of reading experience with many genres. I also like books that make me think and feel something, that can make me emotional. So if you know a book with all those topics combined, I would love to know!

Interview with the Vampire might be what you’re looking for, although the romance there is more subtextual

The Magus by John Fowles
‘Tess of d’Urbervilles’ by Thomas Hardy has some of this.
