My 2.5 year old son loves books, and has quite varied tastes. We read everything from board books with 1 word on each page to The Magic Treehouse beginner chapter books and the classic Winnie the Pooh. A few weeks ago we checked out "My Winter City" by James Gladstone. We have read it every bedtime and nap time, plus in between. So probably 40+ times in two weeks. I also love it and would love to find similar books. It's a very calm book, and it feels almost like poetry. There is a story but it's not complex. The illustrations have color but it's not as vibrant and more sketchy(?). The general feeling reading it reminds me of "Bear has a Story to Tell" and a little bit of "The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse".
I'm sorry if this is a bit vague, I understand I'm asking for book recommendations based on vibes 😅 But if anyone has any ideas I'd love to hear them!

Similarish book that we also love: The Hat books by Jon Klassen, and the Frog and Toad stories.
